OWNER
Brittany Jones
I am a DONA International certified Birth doula and postpartum doula. I am also certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. I also hold a Bachelor of Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Psychology and a Master of Arts from North Carolina Central University in Clinical Psychology. I have over 7 years of experience working in the mental health field. I am a board member and member of the North Carolina Perinatal Association.
I have always admired the sacredness of the process of bringing another life into this world. From the tender age of 7 I always knew that I wanted to help mothers and babies. I remember spending my time watching A Baby Story on television and learning all of the medical ins and outs around having a baby. This passion and drive to help mothers and babies in conjunction with my own lived experience of giving birth is what sparked my interest in becoming a doula. I have a passion for and commitment to addressing disparities in both mental and physical health for Black, Brown, and historically marginalized people.
